Funkio is committed to assure that your personal data will only be used with the privacy statements. We take your privacy seriously because we at Funkio know you are extremely careful about how your personal information is used and shared.

Information We Collect

Provided By You

Let’s say you create an account on our services to build a chatbot, through the registration process and/or through your account settings, we may collect Personal Information such as, but not limited to, your name, email address, timezone, list of Facebook Pages you own.

That’s how we receive and store any information you willingly provide to us. Certain information may be required to register with us or to take advantages of some of our features.

Data Collected Automatically

We automatically collect data from your browser or device which may include your chatbot history, your IP address, geolocation data, the details of browser and/or device you’re using to access our services, cookie information etc. We collect these all data, specifically to use them for the customization of content that we think you might like, based on your onsite behaviour and usage patterns. We may also use it to improve our services, for feature enhancement and so.

Apart from this, you can always opt not to provide information to us, but some information may be needed to register with us, to communicate with chatbots, or to take advantage of some of our features. You may stop using the Services at the time of your choice, however your conversation logs from communications with the chatbots may remain in our records.

Data Security Shields

Data Protection: We strictly obey specified standards of Data Protection when we ask you to provide certain information by which you will be identified while using our Botchat services.

Data Storehouse: For administrative reasons data may be passed to and stored securely with the third party service providers.

Data for Our Services Only: We are committing that the data is being collected, stored or shared, with the sole purpose of the only services which we provide on Funkio.

Data Protection Register: Your data is only used for the purposes described in our entry point on Data Protection Register.

Data Holding Period: To be more trustworthy, we hold your personal data till the moment it’s needed or necessary. Once the data is no longer needed it is deleted from our stacked files.

No Spamming

We abide to act of privacy and keeping that in mind we never send bulk unsolicited messages or any interactions which might become the cause of irritation or disturbance for our customers.

We may contact to existing customers by any suitable means regarding to our product or service update - All with the customers willingness.

Update In Privacy Policy

Funkio reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy from time to time as we constantly trying to improve our Services. So regularly reviewing this page ensures that you are certainly knowing what data we collect, how we access and use it and under what circumstances, we will share it with other trusted parties.

If you use the services after any changes to the privacy policy have been posted, that means you agree to all of the changes. Use of information we collect now is subject to the privacy policy in effect at the time such information is used.

if you don’t agree with the updated policies, you are free to reject them, unfortunately that means you will no longer be able to use the Services. If you use the Services in any way after a change to the Policy is effective, that means you agree to all of the changes.

We at Funkio, process the personal information on behalf of other data controllers, for instance, while rendering services to the customers located in the EU on behalf of a data processing agreement, we process the personal information in the capacity of a data processor.

What personal information do we collect?

In the context of rendering our Services, we may collect some information about you. This information customarily includes the following:

  • At the time of account creation: Your name, email address, time zone and a Facebook user id as long as your privacy settings permit access to these pieces of information.

    If you have connected your Facebook page with us to avail our service then we will be storing the following details of that Facebook profile.

    Facebook: page id, page public profile, page name, page category as long as your privacy settings permit access to these pieces of information.

  • If you use our Product or Services or If you subscribe any Facebook page which is currently connected with us: your unique subscription id for that page, name, gender, language settings, time zone and avatar picture.
  • If you contact us through any communication channel e.g. for a support request or send us an inquiry: Your Name, e-mail address, information on our communication with you and any additional information you provide us with.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you use our Services. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and, where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Cookies, other tracking technologies and storage.

When someone visits, we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not personally identify anyone.

We are using Google Analytics and Facebook pixels on our website to track visitors activity for better enhancement and usability of our website.

We are using Hetzner services to store all our customers' data.
If anyone uses our Product or Service: We are storing cookies through our extension and script. This cookies are not storing an individual’s personal information and is only used to track a user’s behaviour.

We completely support the privacy rights of our massive customers and their Facebook page subscribers.
Under GDPR guidelines, below is a list of our adherence to the GDPR specification.

We want you to understand your rights and choices regarding how we may use your personal information.

Depending on how you use your information, these rights and choices may include the following:

  • Download User Data: If any of subscriber requests you a copy of his data, in that case you can request us for his data by sending an email to [email protected]. The request is only processed if it is sent via Funkio account holder (collaborator is not considered) email along with Funkio access token which you can find in the settings page of the Funkio panel.
  • Opt-out subscriber by account owner: We allow you to opt-out a particular subscriber for messenger updates without deleting their personal information, this can be easily done by subscribers page of the Funkio admin panel.
  • Subscriber self-opt-out: We allow our customer's subscribers to opt-out for all messages which are sent by us through our customer's Facebook page. This can be easily done by just sending "Unsubscribe" message from your Facebook account to the Facebook page which is receiving the messages from us. Following this we will not be sending any message from that page to them until they are re-opt-in.
  • Delete User Data: If any of your subscribers delete their data or our customer wants to remove their data, in that case, our customer can request for removal of their subscriber's data or all of their data by just sending an email to [email protected]. The request is only processed if it is sent via Funkio account holder (collaborator is not considered) email along with Funkio access token which one can find in the settings page of the Funkio panel.
  • Cookies Settings and Preferences: You may disable cookies and other tracking technologies from the settings in your browser.
  • E-Mail Settings and Preferences: If you no longer want to receive marketing emails from us, you may choose to unsubscribe at any point of time.

Please note that this Policy does not cover personal information you provide to our clients when using chatbots created with the use of our Services that are located on our clients’ websites, as we do not control the means and purposes of such personal data processing as defined in Article 4(7) of the GDPR. Typically, our clients, who are owners of chatbots created through our Service will be able to collect your conversation history with the client’s chatbot, and the information contained in your public social media profile, such as your name, your avatar photo, your time zone, your gender, your language settings, and any other information you provide through the said chatbot. Our clients may also use third-party product integration to receive and process the personal information you may have provided.
